1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Business and contact information, such as restaurant or company name, your name, work email, phone number, role, website, and number of locations.
• Pilot and partnership information, including operational concerns, partnership goals, systems used, and related correspondence.
• Customer content and operational data you choose to submit, such as POS exports, sales records, payroll or labor reports, supplier invoices, receipts, menus, delivery-platform reports, inventory files, and related notes.
• Account credentials and support communications.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website or services, we may receive limited technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages, and security logs. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the services.

2. How we use information

• Provide the website, pilot, analysis, dashboards, uploads, support, and other requested services.
• Connect and analyze customer-provided operating data to produce source-linked findings and recommendations for that customer.
• Respond to inquiries and evaluate pilot or partnership applications.
• Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and comply with law.
• Maintain and improve reliability and functionality using service telemetry that does not repurpose customer content.

We do not use customer content to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information only as needed:

• To vendors and service providers that process information on our behalf for hosting, storage, security, communications, document processing, or support, subject to contractual restrictions.
• To comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests; to protect rights, safety, and security; or to investigate fraud or misuse.
• In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
• At your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell or rent personal information or customer content.

4. Data ownership and access

As between YieldForge and the customer, the customer retains ownership of customer content. The customer grants YieldForge only the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide the services. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a need to perform those services.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain legitimate business and security records, meet contractual commitments, and comply with law. Customers may request deletion of their personal information or customer content, subject to legal, security, backup, and contractual retention requirements.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and security monitoring appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send bank credentials, payment-card data, Social Security numbers, or other information we have not requested.

7. Cookies and analytics

We may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, preferences, and website operation. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any choices required by law.

8. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or opt out of non-transactional communications. Authorized customer administrators may also request export or deletion of customer content, subject to the applicable agreement and legal requirements. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

9. Children and international use

The services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. YieldForge operates from the United States. If you access the services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, subject to applicable law.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
